Getting to Silver Dollar City can often be difficult, because so many visitors are coming west from Branson. In the same way, when the park closes, traffic streams east on Highway 76 back to Branson, usually bumper-to-bumper. The 4.5 mile drive between Branson and Silver Dollar City can take over an hour each way, especially on Saturdays in the Fall and Christmas season.

- At Golden Arrow you are five minutes away from Silver Dollar City. You have your own un-congested lane to the parking lots.

2013 Festival Schedule
WORLD-FEST April 17 - May 5. Only at Silver Dollar City does America's heartland get to experience the world's diversity. Great food, entertainment, and culture from around the globe make World-Fest the favorite of many Silver Dollar City season passholder.
BLUEGRASS AND BARBEQUE May 9 - 27. This festival is a delightful contrast to World-Fest; The park changes its flavor from international to local. The sound becomes comfort food to your ears. Along with more local fare, with entertainers like Missouri Boatride, world-renowned artists like Rhonda Vincent and the Grascals give you what you came to the Ozarks for. And we haven't even mentioned the barbeque!
KIDS FEST June 8 - July 23. Time for you and the kids to get with acquainted with Outlaw Run, the world's most daring wood coaster! Not ready? Then maybe you can work up the courage while enjoying Chris Perondi's Stunt Dog Experience, or meet SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora, Scooby-Doo, and other favorite cartoon characters.
MOONLIGHT MADNESS July 20 - August 4 Open 9:30AM to 10 PM each day. Spend your whole day here or wait until the sun sets. Either way, don't miss the special deals in select shops and eateries, and join us for the street dance every night!
SOUTHERN GOSPEL PICNIC August 23 - September 2: Come hear that vibrant southern gospel music performed by the most famous names in the genre, including Karen Peck & New River and Jeff & Sheri Easter by day, and then be serenaded under the stars at Echo Hollow each evening during the festival.
